Day 1 - Nakhal, Wakan, Al Awabi, Wadi Bani Awf, Bimah
08:00 - We pick you up from the hotel in Muscat and drive to Bateena for a visit to Nakhal Fort built at pre-Islamic times. Then our way will lead us to Wakan, the village high in the mountains, famous for its plantations of apricots, pomegranates, grapes and amazing views of Hajar mountains. Here we have a nice walk and lunch at small local restaurant.
Second part of our trip is Wadi Bani Awf, one of the most dramatic and adventurous wadis, home of Little and Big Snack Canyons. We drive there via Al Awabi and take a short walk inside of Little Snack Canyon before arrive to our guest house.

Day 2 - Balad Seyt, Wadi Bani Awf, Misfat Al Abryeen, Jebel Shams
After breakfast we leave the guest house, take a walking tour exploring Balad Seyt village and drive up to Wadi Bani Awf via descending track with breathtaking landscapes up to Sharaf Al Alamin ending in Al Hamra village. Here we have our lunch and take a walk in Misfat Al Abryeen village. Then we drive back to Al Hamra and visit Bait Al Safah Heritage house to learn about daily life of Omani people and enjoy traditional coffee with dates.
At the end, we drive up to Jebel Shams mountain via Wadi Ghul to catch sunset from the highest mountain in Oman.
Dinner at the resort. After dinner enjoy your friendly conversation around campfire.

Day 3 - Oman Grand Canyon, Jabrin, Bahla, Nizwa
Breakfast at the resort and we take our full hike inside of Oman Grand Canyon up to Sab Bani Khamis village. By noon time we return to the resort, take our lunch and drive down of the mountain.
Visit Jabrin Castle with its unique architecture and Bahla Fort, the UNESCO Heritage site.
Dinner at the hotel in Nizwa.

Day 4 - Nizwa, Birkat Al Mowz, Wadi Habib, Jebel Akhdar
After breakfast we visit 17th century Nizwa Fort with its traditional souq of Omani sweets, spices, fruits, pottery and silver and head to Birkat Al Mowz. Here we explore two ancient villages hanging on the mountain of Birkat Al Mowz. Visit one of the old falajes and an ancient falaj, the UNESCO heritage site.
Lunch at local restaurant and drive up to Jebel Akhdar mountain. Walk inside of terraced crops dotted with fruit trees, roses, vegetable crops on the Sayq plateau. Visit Wadi Bani Habib. Explore an ancient abandoned village.

Day 5 - Izki, Ibra, Wadi Bani Khalid, Wahiba Sands
After breakfast at the hotel we drive down of Jebel Akhdar and lead to Wadi Bani Khalid via Izki and Ibra. Walking and swimming in the lower part of Wadi Bani Khalid. From the pretty village of Bidah through its palm grove in the direction of the canyon, walk through the canyon between the blocks to arrive at sumptuous sink with waterfall. Lunch in the wadi.
By afternoon time we arrive to desert camp. Relax. Walk on the dunes. Watch beautiful sunset. Enjoy your conversation with friends around the campfire under the stars.

Day 6 - Wahiba Sands, Wadi Shab, Sur
After breakfast we drive to Sur via Bidiya. Short sightseeing including Dhow building yard. Lookout tower for the view of the city. Village of Aijah. Lead to east Coast. Lunch at local restaurant.
Hiking in Wadi Shab and swimming in fresh pools to the hidden cavern with waterfall. Late afternoon, arrive to the hotel in Sur and relax.

Day 7 - Sur, Wadi Tiwi, Muscat
After breakfast we lead to East Coast and arrive to Wadi Tiwi. Walking and swimming in Wadi Tiwi. Walking on path from the village of Saymah. And then direction of Sowee which is upstream. Swimming in a beautiful basin in two huge blocks. Return by the same way.
Lunch at local restaurant and drive back to Muscat via Sink Hole at Bammah and Wadi Mayh with unique rock formations and ancient rock arts. At the end we visit traditional souq in Muttrah before arriving to the hotel in Muscat.

Day 8 - Muscat, Bandar Khiran, Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we are going to have a full day tour in Muscat before heading to the airport for departure flight.
We start with the visit to The Grand Mosque and Fish, fruit and vegetable markets. Then lead to Marina Al Rawda and board a boat. Coastal tour by private boat to Bandar Khiran. Land on the creek. Have fish barbeque and enjoy snorkeling in clear waters. Return to the harbor and drive to The Old town for some photos of Al Alam Palace and Forts.
19:00 - arrive to Muscat international airport for departure flight home or to the hotel in Muscat to extend your stay in Oman.

Useful Tip:

This tour operates with 4WD car. It can accommodates maximum of 4 passengers and 1 tour guide-driver.

For the Grand Mosque visit, ladies should wear a long trousers/skirt, blouse with  full sleeves and scarf. Transparent cloths - not allowed!
Men can wear a casual dress. Shorts are not allowed.

For the duration of whole tour, and in respect to a local culture, it is advisable to wear a comfortable cotton cloths and a good walking shoes.

During winter time (December, January and February) you will need some warm jackets, hat and gloves as it is a bit cold in the mountains and desert in the nights.
