Mountains and Desert 2 nights / 3 days
Muscat, Nizwa, Wadi Habib, Al Ain, Jebel Akhdar
08:00 - From Muscat we start our journey toward to Nizwa, the silver capital of Oman. Here we are going to visit 17th century Nizwa Fort and spend some time at its traditional souq of spices, Omani sweets, pottery and silver.
After short break with Omani coffee and dates, we drive up to Jebel Akhdar, known as Green Mountain for its fruit and rose gardens.
We arrive to the resort by late afternoon, relax by the pool and watch sunset over the canyon.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at Sahab Hotel
Jebel Akhdar, Birkat Al Mowz, Wahiba Sands
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive down of Jebel Akhdar mountain and have a short stop at Birkat Al Mowz oasis to explore an abandoned village.
The way to Wahiba Sands will take about two and a half hours as we are going to cross the country side and visit Al Munisifeh ruins on the way.
Arrive to the desert camp, relax and get ready for an adventurous driving deep in the desert followed by the watching beautiful sunset over the dunes.

Overnight at Desert Nights Camp
Wahiba Sands, Wadi Bani Khalid, Muscat
After breakfast, we are going to ride a camels and get ready for departure as we are going to spend the rest of the day in the mountain wadi.
Wadi Bani Khalid is one of the most visited wadis in Oman and it is great place to explore a wild cave, have refreshing swim in the pools, enjoy waterfalls, slides and jumps.
After lunch we drive back to Muscat.

Please make sure to wear a comfortable cotton cloths and shoes as we are going to walk in the gardens and sands. It is advisable to have a small backpack. Sun glasses and a hat are compulsory.
During winter time the weather on the top of Jebel Akhdar mountain is a bit freezing (about 10-15C in the afternoon and 0-4C at night). So, do not forget a warm clothes including hat and gloves.
Nights in the desert are cool at winter times and your will need some warm jacket.
Children of any age are welcomed but should be accompanied by their parents.
