Mountains and Wadis  1 night / 2 days tour to Salman plateau, Wadi Al Arbyeen, Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi

Day 1
Wadi Dayqah, Wadi Al Arbyeen, Sink Hole, Salman Plateau, Qalkhat

08:00 - Early morning we start our journey from Muscat and head to the East Coast. Beautiful and majestic Dam in Wadi Dayqah, Wadi Arbyeen with it's lake and Sink Hole are just a short warm up before we drive up to Salman plateau on a steep and adventurous road. Sightseeing tour including Majlis Al Jins cave, an ancient tombs dated back 4500 years, local villages, falajes, steep off roads, great photo-stops and many more are waiting for us during this day. At the end of the day, we have a short visit to Qalkhat ancient city and fix our tents getting ready for delicious BBQ dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab

After breakfast with good cup of coffee and refreshing swim in the sea,  we lead to Wadi Tiwi for sightseeing with driving along the steep roads, local villages , lash plantations and traditional irrigation system.
Then we stop for lunch at local restaurant and move to Wadi Shab. Here, after crossing the lake on a board of small ferry, we start hiking in Wadi Shab. It is an easy hike leading us to the beautiful fresh pools where we can enjoy swimming to the hidden cavern with waterfall.

18:00hrs. Arrival to Muscat.

Price includes:
1 overnight in Twin tent on sharing basis, lunches during day trip, breakfast and BBQ dinner, 4x4 transportation with fuel, soft drinks and mineral water, English speaking tour guide-driver services and taxes.

Please make sure to wear a comfortable  cotton cloths and hiking shoes as we are going to hike in the wadis. Hiking sandals are preferable for walking in the water.  It is advisable to have a small backpack for hiking as well. Sun glasses and a hat are compulsory.

During winter time the weather on the top of Salman Plateau is a bit freezing (about 10-15C in the afternoon and 0-4C at night). So, do not forget a warm clothes including  hat and gloves.

Children of any age  are welcomed but should be accompanied by their parents.
